the KCIDE Circuits IDE software is an integration tool that can be used to solve basic circuits problems. Its release precedes that of Dean Charles K. Alexander's Fundamentals of Electric Circuits, to be used with the assignments in the third edition of this textbook, due out in January of 2006.
within this program, users can define, present, get alternate solutions, attempt an answer, evaluate that answer, and then decide to go back and rework the problem. while in an early stage of development, this software reinforces a systems approach to solving a problem, and approach that is widely used with Dean Alexander's textbook.
the KCIDE Circuits IDE software, version 1.0 requires users to have the ORCAD version 10.0. A interim release for use with Orcad version 10.5 is due out in September of 2006.
